In an attempt to replicate the uplifting sense of community brought by the music in the streets of Italy, one musically gifted Newquay lad has strapped a bucket to his bike and hit the streets to make some noise.

13 year old Dylan, and his apprentice drummer dad, were met with such a positive reaction on their first trip around town that the Samba Bikers facebook page was set up.

The Samba Bikers now make regular trips around Newquay, spreading joy whilst maintaining social distancing, often stopping for care homes and retirement flats.

Met with toots of horns, waves and smiles the reaction from the public has been overwhelmingly positive.

And it's not hard to see why!

If you'd like to catch them out and about, check out their facebook page, Samba Bikers, to find their daily route plans!
