Alicia Ray, a clinical Health psychologist for the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, and yoga teacher, has set up a platform to try and raise as much money as she can for Treliske.

Currently in Sri Lanka, at 11am on the 25th and 26th of March, she’s holding free, 60 minute, online yoga, fitness and mindfulness sessions for NHS staff and anyone else who would like an escape in this difficult time.

Alicia says: “As we are going through difficult times due to COVID-19 with an increasing demand placed on our hospital in Cornwall I want to help my colleagues in RCH at and am offering free online yoga, fitness and mindfulness sessions to support the wellbeing of hospital staff as I understand the benefit of practising yoga, self-care and regular exercise for managing stressful situations.”

Although the classes are free, she’s asking for donations through her just giving page that will go towards the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust charity fund and help Cornwall’s hospital in whatever way it is needed.

She will be offering regular live stream classes via zoom, as well as recording and saving classes so they can be accessed at any time.
