There have been calls on social media for Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsey to help out by cooking for key workers.

It started on Twitter when Gordon - who is isolating in Cornwall with his family at Trebetherick - put out a video message to thank NHS staff and essential workers for being "f@#%ing amazing".

So we thought we'd take a look at some of the chefs here already cooking for the community.

Paul Ainsworth

Paul - who spent three years working with Gordon Ramsey - runs No 6 in Padstow, which was awarded a Michelin star in 2013 and has four AA Rosettes.

He's been on the Great British Menu, Masterchef and Saturday Kitchen.

Now he's cooking up pizza, pie & mash and more for the local community.

"Our Aim is to deliver food to those most in need in the Padstow & Rock community once a week. This way we can hopefully keep doing it right to very end of this pandemic and try and bring a bit of sunshine where we can," he said.

Jack Stein

Rick's son Jack has worked in kitchens since he was at school, and has been Chef Director at his father's business since 2017.

He has released two TV shows in 2019: Wine, Dine and Stein and Inside the Box and has his own cookbook, World On A Plate.

During lockdown he's been doing soup deliveries around Cornwall and dropped off a load of curry for staff at the Royal Cornwall Hospital to take home.

He also helped round up the company's sanitiser and other items so they could be donated to local health visitors.
