The Smoking Longhorn Catering Company are feeding the NHS

Published at 2:30pm 10th April 2020.

Russell Ferris, the owner of the Smoking Longhorn Catering Company on, is working 5 days a week with his team. They'll be located at various hospital sites around Cornwall to feed our NHS staff with delicious, freshly cooked food. Their menu includes melt in your mouth slow smoked beef brisket, pork shoulder and gourmet burgers, and they're selling them all at cost price.

‘We only started on Tuesday this week at Bodmin where we served 186 NHS workers. We will be Liskeard Hospital Monday and Friday, Bodmin Hospital Tuesday and Saturday and St Austell Hospital on Thursday’

Russell Ferris

The reviews so far have been overwhelmingly positive, with one NHS working who saying 'amazing food! Lovely people. Vegan curries potatoes are delicious [and the] chilli coleslaw is amazing on their beef burgers. Taking care of us NHS workers. Can’t thank them enough. 100% recommend’

To find their up to date schedule with where they'll be and when, check out the Smoking Longhorn Catering Company on facebook.
