Online dog show for K9 Crusaders

Published at 6:39pm 9th April 2020.

Paws in Padstow have decided to spread some joy with their online dog show, whilst raising money for the charity K9 Crusaders.

The competition, running on facebook, has seven categories (or should that be dogegories! ...Sorry) you can compete in; NHS Doggo, Best Action Home Video, Silliest Dog, Breed Working From Home, Best Owner Lookalike, Most Caught In The Act and Best In Show - as voted for by facebook. There are even some bonus rounds on offer to spread the prizes even further!

Entry is free, all you have to do is comment your pup on Paws in Padstow's facebook post. You have until Saturday at noon to get your entries in. For every entry, Paws in Padstow will also be donating £1 to K9 Crusaders, meaning even if you don't win, you'll have helped raise money for a fantastic cause.

K9 like other small centres have been inundated recently with requests for help due to the Covid crisis and now with the closure of other local rescue centres the pressure on them is increasingly mounting.

To help raise much needed funds we've put together a fun and quirky online dog show over on our facebook page which we hope people and their children (human and furry) will enjoy getting involved in.

All category winners will receive a £20 gift voucher to spend at Paws in Padstow - with the exception of Best In Show, who will bag themselves a £50 voucher.
