A Cornish pub has unveiled its 'stunning' tribute to key workers.

The Old Inn & Restaurant at St Breward painted a huge mural of a nurse - which they've named Sophie - on the side of the pub.

It released a timelapse of the artwork coming together on its Facebook page.

"Thank you to the nurses, doctors, midwives, all healthcare workers both clinical and non-clinical, carers, police officers, fire fighters, teachers and nursery workers, farmers, shop workers, delivery drivers, postal workers, utility engineers and everyone else that has worked during a period of time when nobody knew what was going to happen," the pub said on its post.

"So many people selflessly put the needs of others ahead of their own safety.

"This mural was organised to say thank you from all of us here. Her name is Sophie, and we hope that all key workers in all sectors can identify with her."

"Thank you for what you have done, thank you for what you continue to do, and thank you in advance for what may yet still be asked of you," said the pub.

"From Urban Gypset, St. Breward Stores & Post Office, us here at The Old Inn & Restaurant and the residents of St. Breward on Bodmin moor, thank you."

The post drew praise from across the country.

One person described it as "a stunning tribute" while another said: "Wow wow wow. What an amazing piece of art. Well done Darren and Dale for doing this."
