Published at 7:37pm 1st May 2020.

Saturday the 2nd of May will see 'The Greatest Agricultural Show' a one-day, online, event which is the creation of Estate Manager, David Hill.

The show is open to everyone, it’s fun and interactive and all proceeds will go to five rural welfare charities.

A large number of businesses and rural organisations are involved in hosting various areas of the show and trade stands are being encouraged to make a charity donation for their presence.

Foodie celebrities making an appearance include Raymond Blanc, his son Oli Blanc, Cyrus Todiwala and his wife Pervin, Liz Earle, ex Nobu chef, Scott Hallsworth, drinks expert Jane Peyton and nutritionist Lucy Williamson.

“For centuries, agricultural shows have been central in the social calendar of rural communities as a place to gather, socialise, trade and compete against each other with the finest livestock, crops and horses,”

“The show is free to attend, and everyone is welcome. Gates will be open between 9am and 5pm on Saturday 2nd May and the weather is guaranteed to be perfect!”

David Hill

The show will feature livestock competitions, food and craft tents, as well as a beer tent, with live chat and entertainment.

The main show ring will play host to displays including the RAF Red Arrows, The JCB Dancing Diggers and the now retired Vulcan Bomber, all streamed to the audience.

With so many shows cancelled, this online event will have real classes, real entertainment, real prizes, real chat and even a virtual beer tent. It is being run for fun!

If you'd like to spend a day at the show, doors open from 9am on Saturday the 2nd of May, here!
