While self-isolating means not leaving the house, there's no reason you can't visit a museum, gallery or famous landmark from the comfort of your living room.

Luckily the wonders of the internet come to our rescue yet again. Not only can you access these on the website, you can also get the Arts & Culture app to explore them on your phone. The site is great if you want to learn something new, and is an ideal resource for students of all ages to be able to find things out from home. There's plenty of content and could keep you occupied for some time.

As with the National Trust street views, Google have been collating a huge resource of different locations all over the world. Why not take a virtual tour of The British Museum or the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul.

You can also have a look at some of the most famous artworks in the world, scanned in high definition to allow you to see every brush stroke.

Alternatively, take a 360o video tour of the Hubble control centre, check out The Biodiversity Wall at Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin or see the Rhomaleosaurus come to life at the Natural History Museum.

You can even take a  guided tour of the Australian National Surfing Museum, for those missing the waves.

If you're interested in Arts and Culture, but want a little more, you can also check out experimentation's created by a variety of people, that combine art with a range of technologies. You can investigate for yourself HERE and see one example in the video below.
