Every day we will be bringing you our Cornish musical recommendations that you can check out for a bit of lockdown listening.

Then each weekend we'll upload our playlist compilation featuring the best of the week.

As well as being featured on Pirate's social media and here on our Superblog, the bands will also get snippets of their songs played on air.

To feature, send us an email with a bio, a picture and links to your social media pages to ellie.hodgkinson@piratefm.co.uk

Helm DeVegas & the All Star band are described as 'A treat to the auditory senses'

Their sound is a lush blanket of harmonies, draped over a twisting landscape of stories. The songs tell tales of Helm's life, travels and of himself. Mix in some sweet country slide guitar and a group of fine musicians and the end result is a collection of heart felt songs that take you on a journey through the eyes of the author.

Under the influence of folk, blues and country music, the band comes in many guises. The very nature of the all star lineup is transient. The outfit itself is more like a collective of talented local musicians who offer their time up whenever they are available. This makes the sound fresh and ever evolving whilst maintaining the original roots and themes of Helm's original concept. It also makes each show more unique and worthy of a listen. The EP ‘Businesses Suits & Concrete Boots’ is now available from www.helmdevegas.com and to stream or download from all major platforms.
