Captain Tom Moore became a national hero by raising over £28m for the NHS by completing laps of his garden.

The Second World War veteran was born on April 30, 1920, and now you can send him a birthday card to mark his centenary.

The Post Office has made it easy, too, issuing clear guidance on how to do it.

"Captain Tom Moore is the wonderful WW2 veteran who wanted to walk 100 lengths of his garden before his 100th birthday, with the aim of raising £1,000 for NHS Charities Together," said the Post Office.

"We have been inundated with requests of people wanting to send Captain Tom a birthday card, so our wonderful post master Bill Chandi has volunteered to collect birthday cards for him and pass them on.

"We have designed four cards which you can download, print out and colour in with a unique design and message and send to Tom.

"If you can’t print or get out to send Tom a card, don’t worry, just head to our Facebook page and leave Tom a message and we will send to Tom on your behalf."

Once you have designed your card just pop it in an envelope and send to:
