SUNSOAK are a 4-piece band hailing from the rolling waves of Cornwall, UK. Formed in early 2020...

The group consists of Ben Thorpe, Daniel Pascoe (formerly of iPony), Harry Fayer and Luke Parkinson (formerly of Milo Gore) and blends influences of The Strokes, Vampire Weekend and The Kooks with their own brand of high energy rhythm and impassioned emotive performance.

Their first single ‘Break’ was released in March and was immediately drafted to be part of a charity compilation album of South West musicians, ‘One and All' helping raise money for the Cornwall Coronavirus Community Fund.

From there, ‘Break’ was picked up and promoted by blogs such as the retweetermag and The Cornish Musician who said:

“Break is a bouncy indie track filled with summer vibes and […] is nothing short of an "Indie Banger." This track really reminds me of a kind of Vampire Weekend & Two Door Cinema Club baby mixed with some Cornish roots.”

A lyric video was also released and has received over 3.1k views on Facebook - view it HERE

Despite the UK being on lockdown the boys continue to play in the form of online sessions from the comfort of their respective homes.

The band plan on releasing their next single “Sugarcoat” and hitting the Cornish music scene as soon as they are allowed outside again!
