A navy squadron has shared photographs from the sky after they spotted a message in a field.

The crew from RNAS Culdrose in Helston released the images on Facebook.

736 Naval Air Squadron were returning from a training mission when they saw the NHS letters near the airbase.

It is believed they were created by a farmer who wanted to thank hospital staff.

Another crew from 820 squadron later went and took the pictures.
