Tarquin's Gin launch initiative to help customers through coronavirus

Tarquin's Gin has launched 'Bounce Back with Tarquin's' - a brand new initiative aimed at helping their customers recover after a difficult few months.

With retailers set to reopen, Tarquin’s Gin, from Padstow, is doing everything they can to help their customers bounce back from coronavirus.

Their new initiative plans to double credit to their smallest customers for 60 days, scrap minimum order quantities, and provide free hand sanitiser stations for retailers.

‘Bounce Back with Tarquin’s’ will help retailers across the county and country, including farm shops, wine shops and delicatessens, to restart trading from June 1st 2020 - the date the UK government announced that shops could begin to reopen for business.

“I really appreciated the support I had from the local community when I first started the business, and now we want to help our customers have a fighting chance of coming out of this crisis stronger.”

Tarquin Leadbetter, founder and Master Distiller

This isn't the only way Tarquin's have adapted during coronavirus, the distillery modified their spirits production to manufacture hand sanitiser in March.

Made from a World Health Organisation recipe, the hand sanitiser was scented with gin botanicals, juniper and orange, and then distributed to the wider Cornish community, including our NHS, Devon and Cornwall Police, and local food banks.

With the goal to get back to 'business as usual', Tarquin’s has continued to develop new products for the summer including their first ever rum, Twin Fin, and a new gin, designed to be served as a spritz, rather than with tonic, Cornish Sunshine Blood Orange Gin.
