Published at 10:10am 15th April 2016. (Updated at 9:43am 28th April 2016)

A boy with Asperger’s has written a poem - and it’s beautiful.

The 10 year old was given the task and provided with the first two words of every sentence before beginning.

The poem is called 'I Am’ and Benjamin has been touching people’s hearts all over the world with his words.

One person commented: “In case he ever sees this: I’m odd too Benjamin; everyone is. It’s what makes us all unique.”

Another said: “A wonderful poem written by an inspirational young man. Keep writing Benjamin.”

Benjamin has teamed up with Becket, a talented and celebrated illustrator who is the personal assistant to Anne Rice to create a children's book based on his poem.

Benjamin is represented by Naomi Davis of Inklings Literary Agency.

Also,  Benjamin is an official ambassador for the National Autism Association and helping put together a #oddtoo campaign.

Benjamin's father, Sonny says:

"We are really excited about this. We are currently putting together a video to teach kids to embrace being odd and are asking people to send selfies to Benjamin's Facebook page or Twitter."
