Published at 5:33pm 7th July 2016.

Gover and out!

Michael Gove will not be the next Prime Minister and the next person in charge will be a woman.

The Justice Secretary got the fewest votes from Tory MPs, which means he is out of the race for Number 10.

Home Secretary Theresa May and Andrea Leadsom are the final two candidates.

Here is the breakdown on the latest round of voting:

Theresa May - 199 votes

Andrea Leadsom - 84 votes

Michael Gove - 46 votes.

The winner is due to be named on September the 9th.
