Cornucopia is the perfect destination for a family day out – whatever the time of year, and whatever the weather. Based near St Austell, there are three clear reasons to visit!

Food and Drink

Cornucopia celebrates Cornish food and drink and, at the heart of the experience, visitors will have the chance to purchase and enjoy a unique pasty tasting plate. And if a meal or a snack is not required, ingredients can be purchased and cooked at home.

An exciting, interactive exhibition will trace the pasty and its origins and visitors can make their own pasty. The 13,000-square-foot space will be used for year-round events and is available for private hire.

The Market

Also on site is the largest indoor market in the South West. Some 80 independent businesses offer an eclectic mix of everyday essentials and specialist, niche products.

Cornucopia Family Adventure

A great mix of indoor and outdoor activities mean there is something here for every age – from toddler to teen. Kidzworld is relaunching as Cornucopia Family Adventure and, alongside the soft play, dodgems and sky trail, 2017’s new attractions include a cannonball run and trampolines. Available year-round for birthday parties.

These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with Pirate FM’s standard terms and conditions, available online here.

During each contest round one nominated spokesperson that has registered on this webpage will be chosen at random to play on-air.

Should the nominated spokesperson not be available to play on-air Pirate FM will choose a new business at random until a nominated spokesperson is available.

The nominated spokesperson will be given ten seconds to offer five correct answers to a question on-air.

Pirate FM’s judgement on what constitutes a correct answer is final.

For every correct answer within the stated time limit the business of the nominated spokesperson will win two “Mum’s” pasties for their colleagues’ lunch, up to a maximum of 10.

Answers given outside the ten seconds, marked by an audible countdown on-air, will not be accepted.

Answers will only be accepted if they are given by the nominated spokesperson.

The nominated spokesperson will additionally win a Cornucopia t-shirt if he/she answers one or more question correctly.

Prize pasties will be delivered by Cornucopia to one business address with a Cornwall postcode only, excluding the Isles of Scilly.

Winners agree that their details may be shared with Cornucopia for the purposes of prize delivery.

Prizes are subject to availability and are at the complete discretion of the promoter.

Pirate FM is not liable for the delivery or delivery arrangements of the prize pasties/t-shirt.

Should the contesting round not be run live, Pirate FM reserves the right to prerecord a contesting round using a randomly chosen nominated spokesperson who has registered through this webpage. Under these circumstances entrants will be made aware at the time of recording.

Pirate FM reserves the right to solicit for entries on social media.
