Cornish Seal Sanctuary

Not your usual day out, come and learn all about Cornwall's seals and marine mammals at the Seal Sanctuary! 

You'll be able to visit the Convalescence pool, which is the main pool in which the Grey Seals live. You'll get to see their individual personalities and learn their unique stories of how they ended up at the sanctuary.

Porfell Wildlife Park

Porfell Wildlife Park is a wild family attraction only a few miles from Looe in South East Cornwall.  It offers sanctuary to many different animals from around the world.  They might be neglected, injured, imported illegally or simply no longer wanted.  For whatever reason they come to Porfell, they’re always welcome.

it’s also home to exotic animals including beautiful birds like kookaburras and macaws, old reptiles like our giant leopard tortoises, amazing monkeys, graceful zebra and eland, crazy ostrich and an ever-growing gang of meerkats.

Trethorne Leisure Park near Launceston is a fantastic family day out in Cornwall and an all-weather family tourist attraction in Cornwall. In the farm park have hours of family fun, adventure and entertainment. They have over an acre of outside play areas and over 45,000 sq ft of indoor play areas and adults can join in too!

Jungle Jacks Newquay

Struggling to entertain them at home? Head down to Jungle Jack's and let your little monkeys run wild, have a blast and burn off some of that energy. Their purpose-built play-frame provides over 1,700 square feet of fun including challenging climbs, a rope bridge,  astra-glide slide, crafty crawl tubes and peekaboo bubble windows. Screech Owl Sanctuary

Founded almost 30 years ago, the sanctuary is home to the largest collections of owls in the south west - with more than 40 different species from all over the world. They help with the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured owls in the county and, where possible, return them to their former locations.

Situated in the heart of Cornwall, on the edge of Goss Moor Nature Reserve near Indian Queens, staff also use the site to provide education to both adults and children, allowing them the opportunity for close encounters with these beautiful and majestic birds.
