Spring has arrived in the UK and if last year is anything to go by, we should be expecting rain and humidity bringing those infuriating mosquitoes along with it. In a recent survey, 70% of Londoners said that they had been bitten by mosquitoes, with them even catching us on the London Underground. From midges frustrating golfers in Scotland, to mosquitoes biting opera goers at Glyndebourne in Sussex, the more rain there is, the more mosquitoes there are.

Don't Scratch - Zap it!

Wherever you holiday, it’s usually a given that you will get bitten. We can stock up on repellent, but sometimes it isn’t enough and we need something that can treat the itch quickly whenever the occasion arises.

Zap-It is a compact device that provides quick and easy mosquito bite relief. It is conveniently placed on the end of a lanyard, so it can be carried around effortlessly, left in the car, tied to a picnic bag or looped onto a belt. You hold it between 2 fingers and click the activating button 5 times or more with your thumb directly onto a mosquito bite. It relieves the itching and urges to scratch, quite quickly making the swelling go down. This year Zap-It is available in Asda's holiday shops in all stores or online at

To help families stop itching this year, we are giving away a Zap-It travel pack worth around £50 including a family pack of four Zap-Its, two pro-biotic ActiMint pots, three Mad Gabs natural lip balms all packed in a beautiful Muji travel bag.
